JOB TYPES: PT/FT; Contract; Monday-Friday. MUST be a U.S. citizen.
 
Transcribing and typing medical reports for a busy medical office.
 
DUTIES:

• Listen to recorded dictations from healthcare professionals.
• Transcribe and type medical reports, summaries, and patient histories.
• Ensure accuracy of medical terminology, spelling, and grammar.
• Edit transcribed documents for clarity and consistency.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations.
• Communicate with healthcare professionals to clarify dictation as needed.

 
QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in medical transcription or recent education in the field.
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology.
• Proficient in typing and using transcription software.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

 
JOB REQUIREMENTS: Computer, Internet, and a home office set-up.
 
PAY RANGE: $15.00-$60.00 per audio hour transcribed.
