Transcriptionist (PRN) Avondale, AZ

looking for someone to fill the position of a Transcriptionist (PRN) to work
virtually in the U.S. only.

JOB TYPES: MUST be a U.S. citizen. Flexible.
OVERVIEW: Transcribe and edit dictation of patient X-ray film
interpretation and/or treatment for radiology records, physician’s reports
and correspondence from radiology supervisors. Review transcribed
reports for spelling, grammar, clarity, consistency, and proper medical
terminology.

DAILY TASKS:
 Accurately transcribes and edits involved technical radiology reports.
 Transcribe non-medical reports, letters and documents as requested.
 Operate and keeps transcription equipment in good working condition
 Work on quantity to insure reports are sent back to referring physician
within 24 hours.
 Answer phone as needed.
 Resolve problems regarding reports in a timely and efficient manner.
 Reconcile records to make sure all orders have reports. Notifies
appropriate staff if missing a report.

QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS: High school diploma or equivalent.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
 Prefer computer to run Windows 10 or newer.
 Prefer to have 8GB of RAM minimum.
 Home office set-up. Keep adequate supplies for work area.
 Headset, foot pedal, computer, and keyboard to listen to and edit
radiology dictations.
 Must be able to provide own computer and have access/Have high-
speed broadband Internet connection.

PAYMENT: $20.00 per audio hour transcribed. Video/audio file lengths
range from 30 minutes to 2 or more hours.
