Skills
Thorough knowledge of the default foreclosure process. Proficient in Microsoft Office Word, Excel, etc. Familiarity with mortgage application software, (i.e., Equator, LENSTAR, etc.). Responsibilities
Conduct a thorough review, interpretation, and evaluation of all default related legal documents prior to execution to ensure all factual information contained in the document is true and correct. Perform audits to ensure supporting documentation to support data and assertions made on Foreclosure Affidavits, Sworn Statements and Declarations are provided. Provide transparency of CMS document execution, retention and accuracy of Default related documents, executed by CMS authorized signer. Perform all duties in accordance with the company’s policies and procedures, all US state and federal laws and regulations, wherein the company operates. Record all findings and notate files accordingly. Communicate with outside & inside counsel and/or in-house Foreclosure Specialists. Complete routine audits of the accuracy and completeness of default documents. Perform other duties as assigned.
Base Salary
$15.00-$25.00 per hour

JOB TYPE: Full-time; Proofreader; MUST be a U.S. citizen.
 
DESCRIPTION: This role involves the thorough review of foreclosure procedural documents in compliance with investor and client guidelines.
 
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

  • Conduct a thorough review, interpretation, and evaluation of all default related legal documents prior to execution to ensure all factual information contained in the document is true and correct.
  • Perform audits to ensure supporting documentation to support data and assertions made on Foreclosure Affidavits, Sworn Statements and Declarations are provided. QUALIFICATIONS
 
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND/OR LICENSES:

  • High school diploma or equivalent work experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in finance or real estate industry.
  • Three to five years of experience in default servicing, mortgage, title or real estate.
